- Michael Holmes is a master of the well-told joke. He playfully paints situations, then hits the gag home for big laughs every time. Born and raised in Waterloo, IA, Holmes moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy. For over two years he has played to audiences all over the Midwest and beyond. Holmes is a crowd-favorite at great Chicago comedy venues like The Lincoln Lodge, The Elevated, and Chicago
Underground Comedy.
Mike has also appeared on improv stages and written material for other comedians who are always happy to
have the Michael Holmes take on a new joke. Holmes is a fresh, dedicated talent with a comedic skill that slays every audience for whom he performs.
