I Wanna Rock

I was in a club this weekend. I love how music can alter the dynamics of
what’s acceptable. The song playing was “I wanna rock” by Luke Campbell. It’s a
very fast pace song. The song structure is Luke yelling a phrase and then
people on the song yelling the phrase back to him. On the surface, it’s a dumb
song, but that’s part of the reason, it’s so smart. One of the phrases is
“Pop that coochie.” When you’re very drunk, saying “Pop that coochie” is very
exciting and exhilarating. When that song is playing is the only time in life
where it’s acceptable to yell “Pop that coochie” in a girl’s face and she’s
alright with it. You can yell it at the cleaners or Panera bread, people will
think you’re weird. This is why Luke is an America hero.
